BERLIN - Augsburg got their first points of the new Bundesliga season with a 1-0 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Argentine attacker Raul Bobadilla got the only goal of a tight game after 49 minutes as the visitors recovered from back-to-back defeats to move off the bottom of the table.

Eintracht's Japanese midfielder Takashi Inui drew a good save from Marwin Hitz on 15 minutes before Czech striker Vaclav Kadlec had a strong appeal for a penalty turned down.

Kadlec then went close for the home team on the half hour when Haris Seferovic worked his way to the byline. The Swiss forward's low centre was flicked towards goal by Kadlec but the ball trickled narrowly wide.

Two minutes later Bobadilla wasted a good chance for Augsburg when he shot straight at Eintracht 'keeper Kevin Trapp and the same player had a goal disallowed for offside shortly afterwards.

Bobadilla tested Trapp from the edge of the box and Ragnar Klavan then saw his header from the corner turned over the bar by the Eintracht 'keeper in the last action of the first half.

The visitors continued to press after the restart and were rewarded when Bobadilla finally found the net. Former Eintracht forward Halil Altintop held off a challenge inside the penalty area and Bobadilla followed up to tuck the ball in off the post.

There was a shortage of chances in the second half but Tobias Werner almost made Augsburg's day even better when he twice hit the woodwork in the final 10 minutes.

The home side rarely threatened in the latter stages as they went down to their first league defeat of the season.

On Saturday, Bayern Munich moved level with Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over VfB Stuttgart, while Shinji Kagawa scored on his return to Borussia Dortmund as they beat Freiburg 3-1.

Mario Goetze got the opening goal for Bayern in the first half before Franck Ribery came on for his first appearance of the season and made the points safe with five minutes remaining.

Kagawa scored Dortmund's second goal in their victory over Freiburg in his first game since returning to the club from Manchester United.

Leaders Bayer Leverkusen lost their 100 percent record when they drew 3-3 against Werder Bremen on Friday night.
