Arsenal's team bus arrives at Gander Green Lane after getting stuck in traffic
It took some time, but Arsenal made it to Sutton United's Gander Green Lane, the little stadium where players can't take hot showers because of a damaged boiler.
On Monday, Arsenal's team bus got stuck in traffic en route to the Gunners' tie against Sutton in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The game is the embodiment of the tournament's "magic," pitting a non-league minnow against a wealthy giant, and the winner will take on Lincoln City, a non-league club writing a fairy tale of its own, in the quarter-finals.
The bus finally pulled in with around one hour until kick-off and drew a great deal of attention.
As Arsenal's players exited the bus, supporters held out their phones, trying to snap a picture of Arsene Wenger and Alexis Sanchez arriving at Gander Green Lane in a scene that will likely never be repeated.
