Sutton United's incredible run in the FA Cup is finally over.

The fifth-round tie between Sutton and Arsenal proved to be rather uneventful in the end, as the non-league club treated the clash at Gander Green Lane as a laugh. It felt as though Paul Doswell's side was simply happy to be there, and the Gunners' only real scare came when Roarie Deacon hit the crossbar in the second half.

A streaker with a giraffe's headdress invaded the pitch, kids did cartwheels on the field before kick-off, and Wayne Shaw ate a pie during the second half. The whole affair had a laid-back attitude to it which suggested a giant-killing wasn't in store.

Nonetheless, the night will go down as one of the most memorable in Sutton's history. Grandparents will tell their grandchildren about the day Arsene Wenger and Alexis Sanchez visited Gander Green Lane, and show them pictures from the occasion.
