Luis Enrique: 'I won't go within 10 metres of a TV or radio'
Following the darkest night in Luis Enrique's managerial career, the Asturian manager isn't going anywhere near a television.
On Saturday, four days after Barcelona was humiliated by Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, Enrique insisted that he isn't affected by criticism but admitted to avoiding the news at all costs.
"Criticism doesn't affect me, because otherwise I could not have kept this role for three years," Enrique said, according to Marca. "I don't listen to (the press), I'm not going to do it this week. I won't go within 10 metres of a TV or radio."
PSG's 4-0 hammering of Barcelona raised further questions about the Blaugrana, which is already under fire for its tactics and perceived lack of physicality, youth system, and leadership. Enrique referred to the embarrassment as a "disaster," a choice of word that Mundo Deportivo splashed across its front page the day after. Sport, meanwhile, wrote: "This is not Barca."
Enrique will have a chance to salvage some pride Sunday, when Barcelona welcomes CD Leganes in La Liga.
