Tyler Nevin is going back to Charm City.
The Detroit Tigers traded the utility man to the Baltimore Orioles on Monday in exchange for cash considerations.
Nevin appeared in 64 games with the Orioles from 2021-2022 before he was traded to Detroit on Dec. 31, 2022. He hit .200/.306/.316 with two home runs with the Tigers last season. The 26-year-old played first and third base, in addition to both corner outfield spots, in that 41-game stint.
He did play much better with Triple-A Toledo last season, slashing .326/.400/.543 with 15 home runs, 22 doubles, and four stolen bases in 87 contests.
