Colorado Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland appeared to suffer an injury in a collision at home plate after being used as a pinch runner in the ninth inning of a tie game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.

Freeland grabbed his shoulder and walked to the dugout in visible pain after getting tagged out at home.

Rockies manager Bud Black said postgame that Freeland will be fine, according to DNVR Rockies.

Colorado played the Phillies shorthanded, with Kris Bryant (back stiffness) and Brendan Rodgers (illness) unavailable.

Philadelphia won the game 2-1 in extra innings.
