Puig named to Dodgers' 25-man NLDS roster ahead of clash with Mets
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was listed on the team's 25-man roster ahead of Game 1 of the NLDS against the New York Mets, just as he predicted earlier in the week.
Puig missed the final month of the regular season with a hamstring injury, but was one of six outfielders named to manager Don Mattingly's squad.
Scott van Slyke was left off as he battles a wrist injury.

For the Mets, outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis - who appeared in just 64 games for the Mets this season - made the postseason roster despite his .208/.282/.406 hitting line, while speedster Eric Young Jr., who seemed like a perfect fit off the bench as a pinch-running spark plug, was omitted.
Juan Uribe, as expected, is also absent from the roster as he recovers from a chest injury.
