Report: Bob Bradley engaging in continued talks with LAFC

Following an ill-fated spell at Swansea City, Bob Bradley is reportedly speaking with one of Major League Soccer's expansion teams.

According to Sports Illustrated's Grant Wahl, Bradley is engaging in continued talks with Los Angeles Football Club, which will kick off its inaugural season in MLS in 2018 and is yet to appoint a manager. The American manager apparently held discussions with the club prior to joining Swansea, and is also open to coaching in Europe once again.

Bradley coached in Los Angeles in 2006, working as the manager of Chivas USA, which operated as a subsidiary of Chivas before the club was shut down by MLS.

At Swansea, he lasted just 86 days, and, having inherited the Swans when they were teetering above the Premier League's relegation zone, left the Welsh club joint-bottom. He did no favours for the stigma against American managers in English football, but expressed confidence about his future after the sacking, telling the Guardian's Graham Ruthven: "I think anyone who has really taken the time to get to know me, I don't think they would be thrown off by the fact that in a short amount of time in the Premier League I wasn't able to put my stamp on that team."

Bradley also preached patience, stating he'd be willing to wait until 2018 to get back into management if "the right situation" came along.
