Watch: Carmelo buries 76ers with game-winning jumper

USA Today Sports

Game. Set. Carmelo.

With the New York Knicks trailing by one during the dying seconds of the fourth quarter, All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony put on his hypothetical clutch hat and drilled a jumper with 0.3 seconds remaining to secure a 110-109 victory over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden Saturday night.

Coincidentally, Sixers guard T.J. McConnell was just inches away from Anthony at the time of the shot. Last month, it was McConnell converting a turnaround jumper at the end of regulation over Anthony to give Philadelphia a win on its home floor.

Revenge is a dish best served cold ... ice cold.

In 36 minutes, Anthony dropped a game-high 37 points on an efficient 15-of-25 shooting and added six rebounds and two dimes to propel New York to just its second win in the last eight outings.
