Butler nervous about KD's response if he credits LeBron as toughest to guard

Chicago Bulls All-Star Jimmy Butler won't willingly put himself in a position where one of the Association's premier scorers will seek to destroy him offensively the next time they meet on the hardwood.

With the reigning NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers set to visit the United Center on Thursday night, Butler was asked whether he feels LeBron James is the toughest player in the league to guard.

Way to play it safe, Jimmy.

"If I say he (James) is, then next time I play (Kevin) Durant, he's going to try to score 60. You're not gonna get me," Butler told reporters Tuesday afternoon, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.

In two games this season against Chicago, James is averaging 29 points, 10 assists, and 6.5 rebounds on a scorching 58.1 percent shooting from the field, as well as 40 percent from behind the arc.

Durant, on the other hand, has only played the Bulls once as a member of the Golden State Warriors, dropping 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 31-point victory back on Feb. 8.

Chicago and Golden State won't cross paths again until 2017-18, barring a miraculous run to the NBA Finals by the Bulls, so Butler doesn't have to sweat Durant again for quite some time.
