James Michael McAdoo was in the wrong place at the wrong time Tuesday night at the Toyota Center.

Or, he was just very, very unlucky.

The Golden State Warriors' third-year forward was knocked to the hardwood by Houston Rockets wing Trevor Ariza, who then tripped over McAdoo and landed right on the back of his head late in the opening quarter.

McAdoo headed to the locker room to receive seven stitches for a laceration above his left eyebrow shortly thereafter.

He was evaluated for a potential concussion, but the tests came back negative. He did not return.

The 24-year-old finished with an assist, a block, and a personal foul in three minutes off the bench.
