Watch: Wade gives comically poor effort on defense

Dwyane Wade is on the wrong side of 35 and, at this point in his career, seems to have precious few effs left to give about the less glamorous half of the floor.

To wit: This defensive possession in the second quarter of Game 5 on Wednesday night saw him blow a rotation (leaving Isaiah Thomas wide open from beyond the arc), neglect to make even a modest attempt to close out on Kelly Olynyk in the corner (after Jimmy Butler had come to help on Thomas), and watch the ball bounce off the rim while actively avoiding boxing out Avery Bradley, who grabbed the uncontested offensive rebound and laid it back in for his two easiest points of the night.

On the Celtics' bench, Amir Johnson was so stunned he lost his pants.
