Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Going winless in its previous 14 conference games, Oregon State finally got into the win column, with a come-from-behind victory over Utah, 68-67.

Trailing by three points with less than 30 seconds on the clock, Stephen Thompson Jr. drove to the hoop for the layup to put the Beavers down a point.

Applying the pressure, Oregon State forced a five-second violation on the ensuing inbound, forcing a turnover and giving the Beavers a shot at the win.

Thompson again got the ball, making a scoop shot with 10 seconds remaining to give his team the one-point lead. Thompson finished with a game-high 31 points, including five 3-pointers.

The Utes had one last chance to win the game, but traveled on their final possession, securing the victory for Oregon State.

Trailing 51-38 just before the midway point of the second half, the Beavers outscored Utah 30-16 the rest of the way to earn their first win in conference action this season.

Kyle Kuzma led Utah in scoring with 19 points and on the boards with six rebounds.
