Sunday's dramatic loss to North Carolina on a game-winning jumpshot from Luke Maye brought back horrible memories for Kentucky fans, and Christian Laettner isn't letting this one slide.

Following Maye's winning shot to send the Tar Heels through to the Final Four, the perpetrator of "The Shot" took the opportunity to twist the dagger in Kentucky's heart with a subtle jab, while praising the man who coincidentally, also shares his jersey number.

Maye's heroics, almost 25 years to the day from what's been regarded by many as the greatest NCAA tournament game ever played, scarily resembled that fateful night of Mar. 28, 1992. Sunday's contest may not take that particular accolade, but it did give the Wildcats a painful reminder of what can happen in the dying seconds of a Regional Final.
