Roy Williams 'scared to death' of Berry's unknown status for Final Four

Joel Berry's injured ankles are apparently bad enough to cause his head coach some concern heading into the Final Four.

Roy Williams is worried he won't have the North Carolina guard for Saturday's showdown with Oregon.

"Right now I'm scared to death because I just don't know," Williams said Monday, according to David Teel of the Daily Press.

Berry hurt his right ankle in the opening game of the tournament against Texas Southern, and briefly exited Sunday's game against Kentucky after injuring the other one.

It goes without saying that Berry would be a huge loss for the Tar Heels if he can't go, as the junior is second on the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game.
