Five-star forward Bryson Tucker is committing to Indiana for the 2024 class, he announced Thursday.

The Maryland native is the 17th-ranked prospect in the nation on the 2024 ESPN 100 but the second-highest yet to commit in this year's class. Montverde Academy talent Liam McNeeley had previously committed to the Hoosiers but reportedly requested a release from his letter of intent earlier this month, a day after the school announced it would retain head coach Mike Woodson.

Tucker's father, Byron Tucker, played a season at NC State before transferring to George Mason for his sophomore campaign. He averaged 20.7 points and 9.6 rebounds as a senior with the Patriots.

The new Hoosiers commit pairs a quick release and smooth mechanics with a 6-foot-6 frame that frequently allows him to get his shot up over defenders. However, he's also comfortable with his dribble and excels at getting to his spots inside for pull-up jumpers.

Tucker is now Indiana's sole commitment in the 2024 recruiting class.
