Wisconsin introduced Paul Chryst as its new head coach at a press conference Wednesday.

Chryst was an offensive coordinator at Wisconsin from 2005 to 2011 and was 19-19 in three seasons as the head coach of Pittsburgh from 2012 to 2014.

"Very appreciative and honored for this opportunity," said Chryst.

"To continue to grow and learn, and then leave and be able to come back ... Coach, I appreciate that, more than you know," said Chryst, turning to former Wisconsin coach and current athletic director Barry Alvarez.

As an offensive coordinator with the Badgers, Chryst helped the team to five double-digit victory seasons and two Rose Bowls.
