Top Prospect to Watch in 2017

Oh dear, this isn't pretty. The Marlins could benefit greatly from having some MLB-ready options in Triple-A, but there are few. 3B Brian Anderson seems the most likely to be of value in fantasy. He didn't hit all that well in his Double-A debut, but a hot start and an injury or trade could pave his way.

Who Will Drive You Crazy?

If Stanton plays 130 games it will be a success. His inability to stay healthy has been a thorn in the side of fantasy owners every year of his pro career. Even if he is healthy the entire year, every time he tracks down a fly ball or swings extra hard, owners will cringe. Chances are, however, he'll wind up on the disabled list at least once.

The One to Own

Yelich continues to get better. He added extra power in 2016 while sacrificing a negligible amount of his batting average. He cut back on the amount of times he swung at pitches outside the strike zone as well. The only drawback was a sharp reduction in stolen bases, swiping only nine while being caught four times. If the steals return, he's a five-category option.

Top Sleeper

While everyone will have their eyes on closer Ramos, middle reliever Kyle Barraclough is worth a deep look on the waiver wire. Even if he fails to take over as closer, Barraclough is a perfect option to supplement Ks. In 72.2 innings, he struck out 113 batters for a K/9 of 14.0. He walked too many, which has been his curse, but it's worth the headache.
