RANK | NAME | POS | TEAM | TREND |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | David Johnson | RB | ARI | |
2 | Le'Veon Bell | RB | PIT | |
3 | Ezekiel Elliott | RB | DAL | |
4 | Antonio Brown | WR | PIT | |
5 | Julio Jones | WR | ATL | |
6 | Mike Evans | WR | TB | |
7 | Jordy Nelson | WR | GB | |
8 | Jordan Howard | RB | CHI | |
9 | Odell Beckham Jr. | WR | NYG | ▼ |
10 | Dez Bryant | WR | DAL | |
11 | T.Y. Hilton | WR | IND | |
12 | Michael Thomas | WR | NO | ▲ |
Beckham will likely be more affected in standard-scoring leagues than in PPR formats with the addition of WR Brandon Marshall. Sophomore WR Sterling Shepard will also remain involved. There may not be enough touchdowns to go around in the Giants offense for Beckham to perform equally to the most elite options at the position.
The opposite applies for Thomas, who is the clear No. 1 touchdown option in the Saints' offense without WR Brandin Cooks. PPR owners can expect an increase on his 92 receptions from his rookie season.

24 | Spencer Ware | RB | KC | ▲ |
The Bengals offensive line is a major cause for concern for all fantasy-relevant members of the offense. They're sure to address the position through the draft, but they lost several key pieces through free agency. Ajayi will play a massive role in both the running and passing attacks; he's likely to have one of the highest backfield workloads in the league.
Freeman will remain in a timeshare where he and RB Tevin Coleman have similar skills and roles. Ware's stock improves as the Chiefs get further and further removed from free-agent RB Jamaal Charles.

With the signing of RB Latavius Murray helping to take some pressure off the passing game this season, Diggs is likely to see better looks. The Vikings offensive line is slightly improved, leading to more time for whoever is quarterback will be. Even if Allen is healthy all season, he returns to a much better Chargers receiving corps than the one he left. He's still the best option, but he's no longer the lone option.
While the Lions' backfield remains a likely committee, Abdullah should lead the group when healthy. Detroit has re-tooled its offensive line, allowing them the possibility of their heaviest run attack in recent years.

Cooks sees a slight edge over his new teammates, as he comes with higher touchdown potential. Few receivers can be traded/moved to New England and not see a significant boost in value due to improved quarterback play. Cooks takes a slight hit, as he enters the melting pot which is the Patriots' receiving corps.
Peterson's value falls as his potential opportunities to be a workhorse, three-down back dwindle by the day. He seems destined to enter the year as part of some form of timeshare, where he'll likely have little role in the passing game.

Much of Blount's value last season was tied into touchdowns. He'll see major regression playing anywhere but New England. Some of this value translates to Burkhead but a full season from Gronkowski and Cooks will see more of the Patriots' touchdowns go to pass catchers.
Ertz takes a fall with the Eagles stocking their WR cupboard. He was the de facto No. 1 option downfield last season, but he'll lose work to the tandem of Jeffery and Smith. Richardson rises with Lockett's status for the beginning of the season in jeopardy. Should Lockett miss any amount of time, Richardson will serve well as the downfield threat.

Ginn's true value lies somewhere between his past two seasons, though he's a better target in standard leagues. He will continue relying on big touchdown plays and will compete with Thomas and Snead for looks.
The addition of Burkhead takes away any value gained by Lewis and White by the likely departure of Blount. Burkhead is more useful in the passing game, the role they shared without Blount impeding. Washington failed to impress while serving as the primary rusher for the Lions last season, but he'll compete for a role throughout offseason camps.
