Report: Calvin Johnson to join 'Dancing With The Stars'

Retired Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson will be the latest NFL star to appear on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," according to Entertainment Tonight.

Johnson retired from the league following the 2015 season after nine seasons, all played with the Lions.

He joins a list of celebrities and public figures that includes Olympians Ryan Lochte and Laurie Hernandez, rapper Vanilla Ice, Texas Governor Rick Perry, and model Amber Rose, among others.

The show's 23rd season premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET - the first night of Monday Night Football.

The full cast and pairings will be revealed Tuesday on "Good Morning America."
