These rankings are for standard leagues and will be updated throughout the offseason:

Rank Name POS Team
Le'Veon Bell RB PIT
David Johnson RB ARI
Ezekiel Elliott RB DAL
Julio Jones WR ATL
Odell Beckham Jr. WR NYG
Antonio Brown WR PIT
Mike Evans WR TB
Jordy Nelson WR GB
Jordan Howard RB CHI
A.J. Green WR CIN
Dez Bryant WR DAL
T.Y. Hilton WR IND
LeSean McCoy RB BUF
DeAndre Hopkins WR HOU
Jay Ajayi RB MIA
Devonta Freeman RB ATL
Brandin Cooks WR NO
Amari Cooper WR OAK
Alshon Jeffery WR CHI
DeMarco Murray RB TEN
Melvin Gordon RB LAC
Lamar Miller RB HOU
Sammy Watkins WR BUF
Allen Robinson WR JAC

RBs as a whole re-established themselves in 2016. Bell and Johnson have a slight edge over Elliott due to their massive roles in their teams' respective passing games. Jones should see more standard WR1 usage with Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan rumored to be leaving town. Nelson resurrected the Packers' offense as he returned from injury.

Freeman's continued timeshare with teammate Tevin Coleman (below) prevents him from being a sure-fire RB1, but he has a very steady floor and will have the occasional big week. The return of Danny Woodhead (below) will cut into Gordon's production, while he was already doomed for touchdown regression. Miller and Robinson should see improvements with better play around them.

Rank Name POS Team
Keenan Allen WR LAC
Thomas Rawls RB SEA
Todd Gurley RB LAR
Carlos Hyde RB SF
Demaryius Thomas WR DEN
Michael Thomas WR NO
Michael Crabtree WR OAK
Terrelle Pryor Sr. WR CLE
Mark Ingram RB NO
Doug Baldwin WR SEA
Tyler Eifert TE CIN
Robert Kelley RB WAS
Emmanuel Sanders WR DEN
Davante Adams WR GB
Tevin Coleman RB ATL
Tom Brady QB NE
Stefon Diggs WR MIN
Rob Gronkowski TE NE
Aaron Rodgers QB GB
Eric Decker WR NYJ
Kenneth Dixon RB BAL
Travis Kelce TE KC
Spencer Ware RB KC
Eddie Lacy RB GB
C.J. Anderson RB DEN
LeGarrette Blount RB NE

Owners stuck with Allen last season will likely keep a wide distance in 2017, providing opportunity for their competitors. While WR Tyrell Williams (below) emerged last season, Allen will return to being the No. 1 target for QB Philip Rivers. Rawls and Gurley should improve if their respective offensive lines are addressed by any means this offseason.

Eifert comes in as the top tight end with a massive role in the Bengals' offense as the second-best option for QB Andy Dalton. He is Dalton's favorite red-zone target and should return to the double-digit mark. Should Gronkowski return to New England, there will be no reason to expect a decline from a then 40-year-old Brady. He's the safest option among all quarterbacks. Expect some of Blount's touchdowns to turn into passing TDs in 2017.

Rank Name POS Team
Adrian Peterson RB MIN
Andrew Luck QB IND
Greg Olsen TE CAR
Julian Edelman WR NE
Donte Moncrief WR IND
Cam Newton QB CAR
Larry Fitzgerald WR ARI
Jarvis Landry WR MIA
Dion Lewis RB NE
Isaiah Crowell RB CLE
Giovani Bernard RB CIN
Drew Brees QB NO
Frank Gore RB IND
Brandon Marshall WR NYG
Kelvin Benjamin WR CAR
Matt Ryan QB ATL
Golden Tate WR DET
Jeremy Hill RB CIN
Tyreek Hill WR KC
Matt Forte RB NYJ
Tyrell Williams WR LAC
Jordan Reed TE WAS
Marvin Jones Jr. WR DET
Jamison Crowder WR WAS
Sterling Shepard WR NYG

The Vikings' offensive line almost certainly can't be worse than it was last season, providing some measure of hope for Peterson, should he return there. It's unlikely to see a complete revitalization, and Peterson will be further on the wrong side of 30.

Quarterbacks comprise a large portion of this tier, with Newton being the biggest question mark. He has shown both his ceiling and floor in the past two seasons, respectively. A more tempered performance in 2017 should be expected.

Rank Name POS Team
Jonathan Stewart RB CAR
Bilal Powell RB NYJ
DeSean Jackson WR WAS
Jordan Matthews WR PHI
Rishard Matthews WR TEN
Kirk Cousins QB WAS
Ameer Abdullah RB DET
Mike Wallace WR BAL
Doug Martin RB TB
Dak Prescott QB DAL
Danny Woodhead RB LAC
Corey Coleman WR CLE
J.J. Nelson WR ARI
Tyler Lockett WR SEA
C.J. Prosise RB SEA
Jamaal Charles RB KC
Latavius Murray RB OAK
Martavis Bryant WR PIT
Allen Hurns WR JAC
Adam Thielen WR MIN
Devontae Booker RB DEN
Taylor Gabriel WR ATL
Kevin White WR CHI
DeAndre Washington RB OAK
Paul Perkins RB NYG

There'll be nothing exciting about drafting Stewart in 2017, but he can still provide an adequate floor when healthy. The Panthers' offense will be better next season, after bottoming out in 2016. A return to health for Abdullah will provide the Lions with a much-needed rushing game. He should have no major issue taking over the workhorse role.

Anything to be had from Charles should be viewed as a bonus in 2017. He's destined for a timeshare with Spencer Ware (above) at best. Bryant awaits reinstatement, but he certainly didn't lose the WR2 job in Pittsburgh to anyone this season. Booker, Washington and Perkins should all see bigger roles in 2017, with starting jobs on the line this offseason.
