Joseph: Broncos 'haven't had one meeting' about Romo

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos continue to emphasize that they're happy with their current quarterback depth chart.

Asked about the possibility of adding Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on Tuesday, Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said, "Romo is a non-issue. We haven't had one meeting about Romo," according to Andrew Mason of the Broncos' official site.

Joseph also said the Broncos haven't discussed adding free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, either, according to Mason.

"Need another QB, but a veteran would be the third quarterback. That doesn't make sense," said Joseph, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Joseph's comment echoes that of Broncos general manager John Elway, who said it was his team's intention is to move forward with the combination of Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch.
