The Raiders will officially activated Veldheer, who missed the first 11 games with a partially torn triceps, prior to Thursday's game. His return will provide a big upgrade at the left tackle position and should give quarterback Matt McGloin better peace of mind, with better protection from his blind side. Khalif Barnes will move to left guard.
