Report: Broncos in no rush to sign Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas

The Denver Broncos don't expect to sign a pair of Peyton Manning's top weapons until after the season ends.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Broncos will wait until the offseason before ramping up their efforts to lock up wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and tight end Julius Thomas on long-term contracts.

Both players are in the final year of their rookie deals and both are franchise tag candidates. Neither will be cheap to keep around, but the Broncos will surely find a way to do it. The team is in the middle of  Super Bowl window and can afford to push salary cap penalties into the future - and after Manning has retired.
