Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a hamstring injury.

Lynch was expected to be a game-time decision after head coach Pete Carroll called his Pro Bowl running back "really close" to returning earlier on Friday.

Carroll did indicate that the team expects to have Lynch healthy by Week 6, again saying Lynch was "just about over the hump," and would need a few more days before returning to full health.

This will be the second-straight game that the Seahawks will be without Lynch, as the team will have to turn to Thomas Rawls once again. Veteran running back Fred Jackson is questionable to play after missing practice all week with an ankle injury.

The Seahawks struggled to run the ball last week against the Detroit Lions, with Rawls and Jackson combining to rush for just 69 yards on 20 carries.
