Former six-division world champion Oscar De La Hoya announced he's seriously considering making a boxing comeback at age 47.

"I think coming back for charity is awesome," De La Hoya said Tuesday on RingTV. "I actually want to see what (Mike) Tyson does first. And I have been working out, and I have been training, and I have been staying in shape ... I would really come back. I'm really considering it. It doesn't matter, anyone who is the best out there. I still have that mentality. It would be at 160."

De La Hoya, who last fought 12 years ago against Manny Pacquiao, said he doesn't want to make his return against Canelo Alvarez.

The fighter turned promoter holds a 39-6 career record with 30 knockouts.
