The Edmonton Eskimos officially named Brock Sunderland their new general manager Monday.
"The Edmonton Eskimos are one of the most storied franchises in all of professional sports and I couldn’t be more excited and honoured to be the new general manager of this great organization," Sunderland said.
Sunderland spent the past four seasons as an assistant general manager with the Ottawa RedBlacks and will also take on the role of vice president of football operations with the Eskimos.
The 37-year-old replaces Ed Hervey, who was let go earlier this month.
