Mourinho avoids punishment for reaction to Chelsea coach's goading
Jose Mourinho escaped formal discipline from the Football Association after the governing body simply reminded him of his responsibilities following Saturday's heated touchline incident with Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Marco Ianni, the Blues' second assistant coach who was openly antagonizing the Manchester United manager, has been charged by the FA for improper conduct.

Mourinho is still waiting to be punished for an incident in which he appeared to swear in Portuguese down a TV camera following United's 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle United on Oct. 6. The manager looked to mutter a phrase in his native tongue that translates to "sons of b------" in English.
But this latest infraction wasn't of Mourinho's own doing. When Ross Barkley struck a 96th-minute equalizer in a captivating scuffle at Stamford Bridge, Ianni twice proceeded to deliberately celebrate right in front of where Mourinho was sat in the away dugout. Mourinho said Ianni apologized after the match, and he was keen to call an end to the episode in Monday's press conference.
"I don't think he deserved more than what he got. He apologized. He deserves a second chance. He recognizes he was wrong," Mourinho said, as reported by BBC Sport's Simon Stone. "Don't disturb career of a young guy. End of story."
United and Chelsea are next slated to lock horns in the Premier League in April 2019.
