Brighton and Hove Albion are doing their best to make things interesting on the final day of the season.

A Glenn Murray header in the 27th minute put title hopefuls Manchester City in a 1-0 hole early, and, combined with Sadio Mane's close-range strike in Liverpool's concurrent fixture against Wolves, saw the Reds assume top spot in the Premier League table.

It didn't last too long.

Sergio Aguero equalized just 83 seconds after Murray's header, and then Aymeric Laporte soared through the air in the 38th minute to give the Citizens a 2-1 lead.

With both matches now at the interval, City are on course to retain their Premier League crown, sitting on 98 points. Liverpool, who need their title rivals to drop points to have any hope of a historic triumph, are on 97.
