Leicester City are reportedly nearing deals for Youri Tielemans and Ayoze Perez for £40 million and £30 million, respectively.

Brendan Rodgers' side is close to an agreement with Monaco over Tielemans, who spent the second half of last season on loan with the Premier League outfit, The Telegraph's John Percy reports.

Leicester are also expected to announce Ayoze's arrival from Newcastle United this week. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder will reportedly undergo a medical at the club's training ground on Wednesday.

The moves are apparently unrelated to Harry Maguire's situation at the club. Percy believes Leicester are unwilling to let the center-back leave for anything less than £90 million.

Manchester City reportedly matched Manchester United's £70-million bid for Maguire this week, but both offers are expected to be rejected.

The signing of Tielemans for a club-record fee will come as welcome news to Rodgers, who worked briefly with the Belgian international after replacing Claude Puel in late February. The 22-year-old reportedly drew the admiration of AC Milan after scoring three goals in 13 Premier League appearances.

Ayoze, meanwhile, will give Jamie Vardy some help in attack. Newcastle apparently listed the Spanish playmaker on the transfer market after he finished with a single-season career-high of 12 goals.
