United's Martial, Lingard out 2-3 weeks due to injury
Manchester United attackers Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are unavailable for the next two-to-three weeks, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters on Friday.
Martial and Lingard, who suffered injuries in the Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, are expected to miss Saturday's fifth-round FA Cup clash versus Chelsea, along with Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Crystal Palace.
"I don't think we'll see them in the next two games," Solskjaer said. "Let's hope they heal quickly, but it looks like they might be out for two or three weeks."
The two also face a race against time to be fit for the second leg of United's last-16 Champions League tie on March 6.
United are already without the suspended Paul Pogba for the return fixture in Paris.
Everything was going so well for Solskjaer's side up until Tuesday's 2-0 loss to PSG. United hadn't lost a match under the Norwegian and looked more like their former goalscoring selves.
That all changed when Lingard was forced off at halftime with a hamstring injury. Martial soon followed his teammate down the tunnel with a groin strain.
