Hamilton claims last pole of 2019 season at Abu Dhabi GP
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won his fifth pole of 2019 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull will start alongside Hamilton for Sunday's season-ending Formula 1 race. Hamilton's teammate, Valtteri Bottas, finished second in qualifying but will start at the back of the grid due to a power unit change.

"It's been a long slog trying to get back on pole," Hamilton said, according to F1. "We've been working really hard and the other drivers have also been doing really well on Saturdays.
"But we never stop working, we never give up, and we're always looking for those extra milliseconds."
The 34-year-old Brit wrapped up his sixth F1 title at the beginning of November, and Mercedes won another Constructors' Championship in mid-October.
