Mercedes teammates Bottas, Hamilton to start 1-2 at Austrian GP

Valtteri Bottas took pole position for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix by narrowly edging out Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton during Saturday's qualifying run.
It's the 12th career pole for the Finn as Formula 1 heads into its first race since the coronavirus pandemic disrupted operations.

Hamilton swept the three practice sessions leading up to qualifying but will open Sunday's race from second position.
Ferrari struggled mightily days after Charles Leclerc expressed concerns that they were worse off than a year ago. Teammate Sebastian Vettel failed to even reach Q3 and will open in 11th.
The Austrian GP is scheduled to go Sunday at 9:10 a.m., ET.
