Watch: Stanton's 463-foot blast leaves Marlins Park in a hurry

Giancarlo Stanton's going to break the Marlins Park statue entirely before the new owners have a chance to tear it down.

Stanton's recent home-run barrage continued in a big way Saturday night when he ripped Jeff Hoffman's fourth-inning offering 463 feet over the center-field wall. It flew well past the gaudy statue and landing near the Budweiser sign in the concourse. The ball left in a hurry, too, exiting Stanton's bat at 114 mph and rising over the fence before Hoffman could even blink.

The three-run shot gave the Marlins a 4-2 lead over visiting Colorado. It was Stanton's 41st homer of the season, leaving him one shy of Gary Sheffield's single-season franchise record.
