Red Sox open as slight betting favorite over Dodgers in World Series

The Boston Red Sox are the early betting favorite to win the World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to oddsmakers at the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, via ESPN.
Boston (-135) is favored by a small margin over Los Angeles (+115) to win the title. Odds for each individual game are expected to be posted once pitching matchups are revealed.
The Red Sox rolled through the defending champion Houston Astros in five games during the American League Championship Series, while the Dodgers were pushed to seven games by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.
Game 1 of the World Series is scheduled for Tuesday night at Fenway Park in Boston.
