Miami Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto may be on the move after all.

Six teams - the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and Tampa Bay Rays - are in discussions with the Marlins about possibly trading for the All-Star backstop, a source told Joe Frisaro of MLB.com.

The Marlins are reportedly eyeing a massive haul in return that includes top prospect capital and, in some cases, a catcher with major-league experience, Frisaro adds.

With Yasmani Grandal, the top catcher on the free-agent market, off the board after signing a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, rumors of renewed interest in Realmuto are swirling.

The 27-year-old is entering his second year of arbitration eligibility and is coming off a season where he slashed .277/.340/.484 with 21 home runs and 30 doubles in 125 games.

Earlier in the offseason, his agent said Realmuto wouldn't sign a contract extension with the Marlins and predicted the catcher would be wearing a new uniform come spring training.
