The first National League All-Star Game voting update was released Tuesday, and some familiar names are leading the way.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger - who's putting together a potentially historic season - is far and away the leading vote-getter. Bellinger's 1,189,380 votes are tops among all players in both leagues, and he's more than 230,000 votes ahead of American League leader Mike Trout. Bellinger and reigning NL MVP Christian Yelich (1,057,855) are the only players in either league who've received at least 1,000,000 votes thus far.

The most notable new name atop his position is Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell, who leads the NL in doubles and RBIs. Bell, who is looking for his first-ever All-Star berth, holds a sizable lead at first base ahead of perennial All-Stars Anthony Rizzo and Freddie Freeman.

In the new All-Star voting format, the top three vote-getters at each infield position and the top nine outfielders as of June 21 will advance to the starters election, in which the starting lineups for the July 9 Midsummer Classic will be determined.

Here's a look at the Senior Circuit's top vote-getters at each position:
