Dee Gordon was livid Thursday night.

The Seattle Mariners second baseman called out New York Yankees left-hander J.A. Happ after the hurler hit him on the wrist with an inside fastball, forcing him to leave the game with an injury.

"I was pissed off," Gordon said, according to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times. "It was the second time he threw up by my head. You've got to get the ball down. You can't throw that pitch. I got a family. You need to get the ball, you need to get the ball the f--- down. That's twice. If you can't throw that pitch, don't throw it."

Gordon is only the second batter Happ has hit with a pitch in 38 1/3 innings this season. He hit nine in 2018 and none in 2017. Happ mixed his location throughout the night against left-handed batters with several pitches inside but with others tailing out over the outside part of the plate.

There's no timetable for Gordon's recovery as initial X-rays were inconclusive. He's slated to have further tests on his wrist Friday.
