He will, he will, rock you.
Vanderbilt pitcher Kumar Rocker struck out 19 Duke hitters for a no-hitter on Saturday, leading his team to a 3-0 win in Game 2 of their best-of-three series in the 2019 Division I super regionals to force a winner-take-all contest on Sunday.
Rocker's remarkable performance featured an unconventional fifth inning that saw him strike out four hitters after one of them reached first following a swinging strikeout.
Rocker's no-hitter was the first in super regional history, the eighth in NCAA tournament history, and broke David Price's Vanderbilt record for strikeouts in one game, according to Adam Sparks of the Tennessean.
