Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia needed to be carted off the field after colliding with second baseman Keston Hiura while attempting to field a groundball in the eight inning of Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

After a lengthy delay during which both players remained on the ground, Hiura stayed in the game while Arcia was replaced defensively by Manny Pina. Pina entered the game at third base, shifting Tyler Saladino over to shortstop.

Following the game, Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Arcia was being evaluated for shoulder pain and that there was no concern over a head injury, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Arcia, 24, has authored a .240/.301/.408 slash line with 12 home runs and five stolen bases over 86 games this season.
