Milwaukee Brewers catcher Yasmani Grandal took extreme issue with a called third strike from home plate umpire Jordan Baker on Monday night. He was ejected before manager Craig Counsell could intervene.

While Grandal was livid, the pitch from Atlanta Braves right-hander Josh Tomlin looked like it caught the zone.

This was Grandal's first ejection as a member of the Brewers, and he made the most of it.

After the game, Grandal apologized for his outburst.

"It was nothing against him," Grandal said, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "It's been building up for the last three weeks and it just so happened to set me off with him. Obviously, that's not the way I want to be acting."

The Brewers have been struggling of late; Monday's loss to the Braves was their eighth in their last 10 games.
