A couple of NL East contenders are reportedly shopping for the same starter.

The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies are showing interest in left-handed pitcher Mike Minor, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.

The Texas Rangers starter has previously intrigued the Phillies, who are in search of rotation help. Philadelphia's starting rotation ranks second-last in the Senior Circuit, according to FanGraphs, collectively posting a 4.62 ERA and 5.12 FIP.

Additionally, the Phillies currently do not have a left-hander in the rotation.

Atlanta is a new potential suitor for the southpaw. The rotation doesn't rank much better than Philadelphia's this season, posting a 4.54 ERA and 4.47 FIP, having relied on 10 different pitchers to make at least one start. The recent addition of Dallas Keuchel has helped steady the ship.

The Phillies currently sit 7 1/2 back of the Braves and in third place in the division behind the resurgent Washington Nationals.

Minor posted a 2.73 ERA and 3.82 FIP over 19 starts entering Friday's contest against the Houston Astros. The 31-year-old is under contract through 2020 and is owed $9.83 million in the final year of his deal.
