Yasiel Puig went out with a bang.

The Cincinnati Reds outfielder was ejected for his role in a benches-clearing brawl with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday during the ninth inning of what turned out to be his last game with the Reds. As the fight was breaking out on the field, it was reported Puig was involved in a three-team trade that sent him to the Cleveland Indians.

The Reds and Pirates have had several benches-clearing incidents this season, but none more heated than Tuesday's skirmish.

With Pittsburgh leading 11-3 with two outs in the ninth, Reds left-hander Amir Garrett was seen exchanging words with the Pirates dugout during a mound visit. Garrett then proceeded to storm off the mound and charge toward the opposing dugout, throwing punches at a number of Pittsburgh's players.

Players from both teams took the field and exchanged blows. Puig joined in late and was spotted pushing a number of Pirates players before being separated.

Reds manager David Bell, who was ejected earlier in the game, returned to the field and was involved in the melee.
