The Detroit Tigers are reuniting with outfielder Cameron Maybin, the team announced Wednesday.

Maybin signed a one-year, $1.5-million deal that can be worth up to $2.8 million with incentives, reports Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

This will mark Maybin's third stint with the Tigers after he was drafted 10th overall by the club in 2005. He appeared in 24 games with the Tigers in 2007 before being traded to the Florida Marlins as part of the package for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis.

Maybin rejoined the Tigers prior to the 2016 campaign before being dealt to the Los Angeles Angels during the season in exchange for Victor Alcantara.

The 32-year-old Maybin is coming off of a resurgent campaign in which he hit .285/.364/.494 with 11 homers and nine steals over 82 games with the New York Yankees. The outfielder missed most of July with a calf strain.
