Doosan's comeback fell short on Tuesday, resulting in the Dinos winning yet another one-run game and continuing to bleed me dry. But that won't be the case any longer. It took countless heartbreaks, but I think I've finally learned my lesson.

Will regression hit hard eventually? Definitely. Am I done trying to predict when? Absolutely.

All I can say now is it's time to move on to Wednesday's best bets.

ESPN game: LG Twins (-170) @ Samsung Lions (+140)

Viewers will see a familiar face on the mound in this game, with former Baltimore Orioles pitcher Tyler Wilson starting for the Twins. Wilson's MLB career didn't take off, but he's been one of the KBO's most dominant hurlers since his 2018 arrival in Korea. He was shaky to start this season against the Dinos, but then rebounded nicely his last time out.

Wilson will be happy to face the Lions here, a team he's absolutely dominated since coming over. In five starts against them last season, he was 4-0 with a 2.20 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. Impressive, right? It gets better. In five career starts at Daegu Samsung Lions Park, he's a perfect 5-0 with a 1.59 ERA and 0.97 WHIP. The Twins won four of those five starts by three-plus runs.

Samsung counters with Choi Chae-heung, who's put together a strong 2-0 start to the campaign. His underlying numbers aren't as impressive, though, and he's been roughed up in his last two outings against the Twins.

He's pitching decently at the moment, so Choi should be able to limit the damage at least somewhat here. But don't expect him to keep pace with Wilson, and the Twins should win a comfortable, low scoring affair.

Pick: Twins -1.5 (-110), under 9 (-115)

Hanwha Eagles (+140) @ KT Wiz (-170)

Consider me aboard the Bae Je-seong bandwagon. The 23-year-old Wiz starter is one of the league's brightest young pitchers, and he'll make his third start of the season on Wednesday after dominating the Dinos in his previous outing, pitching seven shutout innings and allowing seven hits while striking out seven batters. That comes after a strong first outing in which he limited the Giants to two runs over 6 1/3 innings.

Bae posted a poor first month last season while adjusting to life as a starter, but he really settled in following April. He was sensational in three appearances against Hanwha after April, twirling 16 2/3 shutout innings and allowing 15 hits with 14 strikeouts to five walks.

The Eagles send Jang Min-jae to toe the rubber, and the beginning of his season has been mixed, with a rough outing against Kiwoon, but also a successful limiting of Kia. However, his overall numbers the last few seasons are rather unflattering, and he shouldn't scare KT backers off here.

In one 2019 start against the Wiz, Jang allowed five runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings. The hosts have hit a groove offensively, and they should be able to give plenty of support to Bae here to make this a comfortable victory.

Pick: Wiz (-170)
