The ballpark of the New York Yankees' Double-A affiliate in Bridgewater, New Jersey, is submerged under water after a massive storm hit the Northeastern coast of the United States on Wednesday night.

Hurricane Ida remnants caused New York and New Jersey to declare a state of emergency because of flash floods caused by heavy rainfall. Maryland and Pennsylvania were also hit by the extreme weather.

Multiple people were killed due to the flooding, according to Madeline Holcombe and Jason Hanna of CNN.

Games between the New York Mets and Miami Marlins, and Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals were postponed Wednesday.
