A Triple-A game between the Reno Aces and Tacoma Rainiers - affiliates of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners - turned into fight night at the ballpark after one of the most unusual benches-clearing brawls in some time broke out.

With his team up big in the bottom of the seventh inning at Greater Nevada Field, Reno outfielder Henry Ramos clubbed a two-run homer and angered Tacoma by flipping his bat. Rainiers shortstop Donovan Walton followed Ramos between second and third base, at which point Ramos stopped, turned, and threw his helmet at Walton to ignite the brawl. Both benches cleared and multiple punches were thrown.

Walton and Ramos were immediately ejected, along with Rainers catcher Jose Godoy and pitcher Brian Schlitter, and Aces pitcher Chester Pimentel. Although he didn't finish rounding the bases after starting the brawl, Ramos' run was counted.

Reno added two more runs after the brawl in the seventh, extending its lead over Tacoma to 13-2.
