New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm expects his first playoff run in pinstripes to be long and fruitful.

"I feel like in everybody's heart out here - at this clubhouse, at least - we don't think our stop is now," Chisholm told media Friday, including YES Network. "We're not stopping until we get that ring. That's what I've been hearing since I got here, and that's how I feel, too."

The Yankees clinched their first AL East title since 2019 on Thursday, rebounding from a disappointing 2023 campaign in which they missed the postseason with an 82-80 record.

New York will embark on its 11th playoff run since winning its last World Series title in 2009. The club was most recently swept out of the ALCS by the Houston Astros in 2022.

Chisholm said the team is united in winning the franchise's 28th championship, adding: "Every time we have a little bit of free time, we just talk about, 'Hey, how we about to feel when we win this World Series?'"

The 26-year-old has shined since New York acquired him from the Miami Marlins, posting a 123 OPS+ with 10 home runs and 18 stolen bases in 45 games.

The Yankees can clinch the AL's top seed Saturday with a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates or the Cleveland Guardians losing.
