Varsho came up limping after rounding second base, attempting to stretch a double into a triple. He grabbed at his hamstring before crumpling to the ground in pain and being helped off the field by team trainers.
Myles Straw replaced Varsho in center field to begin the fourth inning.
Varsho made his season debut April 29 after beginning the season on the injured list. He's recorded 14 extra-base hits in just 24 games played thus far, eight of which have been home runs.
He won the American League Gold Glove for center field in 2024.
Toronto hung on to win the game 8-7 for its fourth straight victory. The Athletics, meanwhile, have lost 16 of their last 17 games.
