White Sox snap Blue Jays' 10-game win streak
Major League Baseball's hottest team finally lost.
The Toronto Blue Jays dropped Wednesday's series finale 2-1 against the Chicago White Sox, snapping their 10-game winning streak. The streak fell one win short of equalling the longest in franchise history.
Toronto had the tying run at first base in the ninth, but Myles Straw flew out to center field to end the game.

The Blue Jays, who didn't start Alejandro Kirk or George Springer, finished 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
"Today we shot ourselves in the foot a little bit on the bases," Blue Jays manager John Schneider said.
After losing 15-1 to the Boston Red Sox on June 28, Toronto rattled off 10 straight wins. The club swept a four-game series with the New York Yankees and a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels as part of the streak.
Even with the loss to the White Sox, the Blue Jays have won five consecutive series and lead the AL East.
"You start a new one on Friday," Schneider said of the streak. "You win the series here, you can't forget about that. That's the goal every series."
Toronto is off Thursday before opening a three-game series in Sacramento against the Athletics to wrap up its schedule heading into the All-Star break.
